As a Tibetan I read with interest your write up on Tibet. Although I disagree with your perspective of the Tibetan history, I believe the public should get information from both sides to determine for themselves what the truth on Tibet is.
While those of us residing in the free world have this opportunity to have access to all information on Tibet, the Tibetans in Tibet as well as many Chinese in China do not have such luxury. They are still provided with one-sided information.
Even then as more Chinese understand the Tibetan issue, there is a growing trend among Chinese scholars who appreciate that the Tibetan issue is not exactly as the Chinese government presents it. Among these scholars is Wang Lixiong. His book Tian Zang or Sky Burial, the Fate of Tibet, written in Chinese, needs to be read by all Chinese. Wang resides in China and so cannot be said to be influenced by Tibetan splittist.
May be for objectivity sake, you should also talk about what the Tibetan people, living in the free world, think about Tibet. That way, your site will serve the good purpose of encouraging a resolution to the Tibetan problem. Merely quoting Chinese official position is no solution.
